Stream of consciousness blogging

so i can't decide what i want to blog about, so instead im just going to type whatever comes into my head. because that's more fun anyway. and now you can see how completely random my mind is. so here we go. stream of consciousness typing.

jodie foster- i dont know what bugs me more about this lady. the fact that she's clearly a lesbian who refuses to admit it, or the fact that she talks as though one side of her face is paralyzed. (you dont believe me about the lesbian thing? have you ever seen her in anything but a pantsuit? or with a man?)

american idol- if Ace gets kicked off, im boycotting.

i've decided im never getting married. it's just not happening for me. i honestly cannot see it in my future at all. you know how there's certain things in your future you can just SEE happening? like obviously, i can see myself graduating and getting a new place and starting my career. i can see myself getting a kitten. and a puppy. and they'd be friends. and i see myself trying to learn how to do something cool like knit. but getting married- i just cannot see myself in a wedding dress, walking down the aisle toward...........??? nobody. because it's not happening. ever.

my niece is adorable. she's only 2 and she caught a fish all by herself. i saw the video.

i spent 8 hours in the van today.

im going to tell city tomorrow. yaaaaaaaa

lately i've been plagued with this feeling that im not doing with my life what i was meant to do. am i the only one who feels like this? surely not. i dont know what it is.....it just feels like something is missing. and i've always wanted to be a teacher, so i dont know why im feeling like this. i guess when i was little i just always imagined myself doing something extraordinary. and let's face it. my life is not extraordinary.

if i could choose to do anything with my life aside from teaching, i'd want to be a broadway actress or a writer. the broadway thing isnt' going to happen because, well.....it's broadway. and the writer thing i guess could happen. since im going to have an english degree and it's not that hard to be a writer. but i want to write fiction. and i want to be published. and that's never going to happen.

my friends would tell me what im missing in my life is LOVE. a companion. someone to care about. because that's important. blah blah blah.

i dont know.

today i really wanted to sleep in because i didnt have to teach because bosse had a built in snow day. so i was all pumped. i was going to sleep until noon. because, like i've mentioned before, im really really good at sleeping until noon. but apparently my mind and body are all trained now. like military style. to wake up at dawn. because, sure enough, my eyes snapped open precisely at 5:45 a.m. and i kind of freaked out thinking, i gotta get up. and then i remembered i didnt have to teach so then i was like, linda! dammit! you were supposed to sleep til noon today! so then i just layed there for about an hour trying to go back to sleep. and i finally did. but i ended up waking up at like 10. which is NOT noon. im going to try again tomorrow. im determined to sleep til noon.

i bet nobody is reading this.

I have a fan with a picture of Shakespeare on it and it says "I am a Shakespeare fan." hahahaha.

alright that's enough stream of consciousness writing for one night. honestly, i didn't censor myself at all. what you read came directly from my mind through my fingers and onto the screen. im a nerd, sorry bout it. and that's why im never getting married.
