im super tired. i should already be in bed. gotta be up in less than 6 hours. blaaaah. im not in the mood to fly. i just got back today from richmond and now i gotta leave tomorrow for san fran. and it's Easter tomorrow. :-( boooooo. Easter without church, without my family. without eggs and a basket. oh wait. that pretty much sounds like every other Easter i've had for the past 6 years. because im ALWAYS WORKING.
anyways. how about some stream of consciousness blogging before bed. because that's always a hoot. (for me).
bed bugs in richmond. not my bed. the purser's bed. but he was kind enough to bring one down to the lobby in a tissue and then open it unexpectedly in front of my face WITHOUT mentioning there was a live, LARGE INSECT inside of it. ummmmmm. i literally ran away. like...to the other side of the hotel. it was 6 in the morning. he's lucky i didnt scream. i totally wanted to scream. i chose to squeal instead. and shake my hands around. and wiggle my body as if to brush off all the bugs that i imagined were crawling on me. did i mention im terrified of bugs?
i realized today that i get super annoyed when someone helps me with a crossword puzzle. i suppose i never knew this before because honestly, how often in life are you (1) doing a crossword puzzle (2) doing a crossword puzzle in the presence of another person.
but i totally was doing a crossword puzzle in the presence of a fellow crew-member who shall go unnamed. im not quite sure what gave him the impression i wanted help, but he started SHOUTING out the answers to me as he read over my shoulder.
seriously...this is me.......standing quietly, chin in hand, pen in the other. reading the clues to myself...perfectly content.
and then here's this clown......."NUMBER 32 DOWN IS 'RAYON'!" "NUMBER 15 ACROSS IS 'ALAN'!"
uhhhhh thanks. im on number 2. but ok.
i dont know why that bothered me so much. but it totally did.
i also decided that the movie "the notebook" would be a heck-of-a-lot better if they had left out the OLD PEOPLE. i know they're supposed to be the same characters and everything..just old. but they dont even act like the same people. they dont look like them. i dont care about old people. i was just fine with ryan gosling. that's all i need. you can take your old couple. and then they go and die in the end......at the same time. of natural causes. that's just way too cheesey. the world could do without all that cheese.
not that i dont totally love the movie, because i do.
today i walked home in 29 degree weather without a coat. i think ive now learned my lesson about always bringing my ugly trenchcoat with me to work. yes it's totally ugly and it has over-sized shoulder pads and it was designed in 1992 when apparently it was cool to be rectangular in shape. but i suppose i can suck it up. it's either that or die of hypothermia. uggggh. tough choice.
i guess that's all from me. time to get to bed so i can wake up before dawn and fly to california! hopefully it will be much, much warmer there. ohhhhh, so maybe i dont need the trenchcoat.

Hi Linda,
I wish you could have been home for Easter too. We miss you! I hope all is well in SanFranciso. I tried calling you a couple of time later in the day today, but you didn't answer the phone. I pray you are fine. Sorry to hear about the bed bugs, how creepy! I hope to hear from you again soon. Let us know where you are tomorrow.Love, mom
