hmmmm. weird. i dont recall a character in Beowulf being a young woman dressed like a slut.
why, then, am i seeing previews for this Beowulf movie featuring ANGELINA JOLIE writhing around and whispering in Beowulf's ear like she's gonna seduce somebody?? Where did this character come from??
Please. please tell me she is not Grendel's mother. please tell me someone did not turn Grendel's mother into a slutty woman for the sake of having Angelina Jolie in the movie. (we all know angelina won't do a movie unless she can get naked or have sex. i have nothing but contempt).
im angry. i hate the story of Beowulf anyway. one of the most overrated stories OF ALL TIME (up there with the Scarlet Letter and To Kill a Mockingbird- argue all you want, you know you only like to kill a mockingbird because you think you should). so it's bad enough that they chose to make yet another movie adaptation. (and a 3d-weirdo-computer-animated-movie at that. why is that necessary?)
but then to put angelina jolie in it. one of my least favorite people in all the world. it's like 2 of my least favorite things have joined forces to mock me. every time i see a preview i die a little inside. it's that bad.
