Aug. 30th. I've been looking forward to this day for quite some time. for one reason. Q101 has been playing a song by a mystery band. i really like this song. they promised to reveal the identity of the band on Aug. 30th. at 5:30 p.m.

i dont know how to feel right now. deceived. violated. confused. intrigued. amused.
im torn between this song i really really like, and images of molli mcdonald in 7th grade with her hanson tshirts and tiger beat magazines. her obsession was nearly as frightening as my own 10th grade obsession with nsync.
i recall mmmbop at our middle school dances, and lunch table debates over whether taylor hanson was a girl or a boy.
i suppose Hanson is working hard on overcoming that image. so maybe i'll give them a chance.
other than that, no exciting news. looking for an apartment. looking at another one tomorrow, this time in lakeview. funny, apartmentpeople.com told me i wouldnt be able to find a lakeview studio for under 700. proved you wrong, suckas! of course, it's probably an apartment the size of my current bedroom. but i dont need SPACE. does anyone really need space? you need to sleep. you need to cook. you need to shower. you need to sit. im perfectly capable of doing all these things in a 10 x 10 foot room. i dont need to do cartwheels in my apartment. no one i know runs laps around their living room.
so yes, i may end up living in a closet-like environment. i will probably be able to reach my fridge from my bed. and that's awesome.
