TAG and the TO-DO

i've been tagged by my sister, so here i go.

the tag game
Here are the rules....Copy & Paste them into your own blog entry...

1.) Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2.) People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things as well as post these rules.
3.) At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
4.) Don't forget to leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your blog!

Ok....so here are 8 things about me :)

1. I chew on my tongue. teachers in school often yelled at me because they thought i had gum. but it's just my tongue.

2. my whole life it's always taken me AT LEAST an hour to fall asleep.

3. i'm in love with tornados and it's one of my goals in life to go on one of those tornado chasing tours.

4. i want to write a book.

5. i need to have at least 4 children.

6. i really enjoy listening to people talk. i could sit and listen to other people talk for hours. it's relaxing. so i can come off as shy even though im not. once i get started on talking...oh boy. haha

7. you'd have to twist my arm to get me to talk about my feelings/emotions. unless your name is beth.

8. i sleep with one of those sleeping mask things.

and the 8 people im tagging.......beth, tina, jules, erica, eva, annie, joey, johnny

back to the blogging......let me just preface this by saying im not a big fan of making to-do lists. or organization in general. or for that matter, planning what im going to do in my day-to-day life. i was one of those kids that told myself i was going to use that school agenda that they give you. you know, that huge plastic-covered thing with the school mascot on it or a picture of students holding hands. for at least the first week i wrote in every homework assignment. and then it kind of turned into a vehicle to pass notes. or a place to scribble "i love _____." and play MASH.

until pretty much every page was covered in writing that had nothing to do with any class. so it ended up being shoved to the bottom of my locker underneath that french workbook that i never took to class and that prop i used in shakespeare class that i never found the energy to bring back home.

and then in the last week of school when they forced us to clean out our lockers, i'd dig it out of the bottom of my locker and read it and be like..."next year im actually going to use this thing!"

and so the cycle continued. throughout my entire school experience.

hence, im not a planner. never have been. never will be. but if i WERE a planner and were actually a big fan of the to-do list, this is what i'd put on it:

1) take everything out of my closet, re-fold/re-hang
2) get more swiffer thingies for my swiffer sweeper
3) go grocery shopping
4) take those movies back to blockbuster (im also not a huge fan of due dates)
5) clean out my car (this includes vaccuming. cuz....yikes)
6) rearrange my room
7) bring my coffee table to the apartment because i despise this huge one we have now
8) organize the organizer i have in my room

it's a good thing i dont make to-do lists or i might feel overwhelmed right now by everything i need to do.

back to work tomorrow. i should be in bed. holla
